I like Joe Nobody's stories and have enjoyed this series so far. A "weenee" sub commander who learns how to make it in a post apocalyptic world is not what I would call a really good story. I like the "Holding their own" series better. I like the stories fairly well but kind of get tired of having to endure needless vulgarity from a guy who spends quite a bit of time talking to himself. And the sheer stupidity of riding a bicycle across the lower part of the southwestern US with a planet that has toxic ashes every where is utterly stupid and ridiculous! But the author does spin a good yarn with all of that nonsense considered.Product details

Love the What if’s from this kind of book! Makes me wonder what I would do. I live too close to a city! Need to live closer to supplies!!
Jack to the rescue again, though I rather like he was willing to help some initial unfriendly people because he believed their cows were worth saving.
I think this author writes nothing bad his full library I would recommend and I've read everything available. keep writing sir and I well keep reading and enjoying.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes apocalyptic fiction. It is fast-paced and hard to put down. Great read.
I was disappointed in this series and stopped reading it in episode 3. I do not plan to read episode 4. Everything else I have read by Joe Nobody I considered very good to excellent. He can do better than this.
Started out really good, now each book has become the same story line on his continuing trek to Texas. Don't think I'll continue after this one, as each book gets shorter. It's no secret to string out books and simply charge more for each, Mr. Nobody. It's like paying off a loan, in installments...It's just that your interest rate gets higher and higher.
A slower speed comparative to your other books, yet very detailed,appreciated that. Cant imagine it being any worst environment than what has he has gone through to get home, looking forward to the next book.
